šAugust: Easing Back Into Structure
Align, Don't Hustle
August always feels a little bit like a transition month.
Summer isnāt quite over, but schedules start filling back up. School starts. Vacations wind down. Fall is around the corner. And suddenly thereās this quiet pressure to get back on track.
Get organized.
Clean up your eating.
Get consistent with workouts again.
Fix your routine.
Be more productive.
But what if we didnāt come barreling out of summer trying to overhaul everything at once?
What if we eased back into structure instead?
Thatās what weāre focusing on this month:
Align, donāt hustle.
Alignment doesnāt mean doing less or lowering your expectations for yourself. It means getting intentional about where your time, energy, and effort are going.
It means choosing habits that support the life youāre actually livingānot the perfectly organized version of your life you think you should be living.
Because consistency doesnāt usually come from pushing harder.
It comes from creating something you can actually keep doing.
šŖ· What Weāre Exploring This August
Throughout August, weāre going to talk about what it looks like to create structure without turning your life into another project to manage.
Weāll explore:
the science of slowing down and nervous system regulation
building routines that work with your real schedule
letting go of āperfectā nutrition in favor of eating in a way that consistently supports you
understanding your energy as feedback instead of treating it like a personal failure
creating habits that make healthy choices easier instead of requiring more willpower
And most importantly, weāll keep bringing it back to something I talk about all the time:
Small things done consistently matter.
You donāt need the perfect morning routine, meal plan, training schedule, supplement stack, or productivity system.
You need a few things that workāand the willingness to keep doing them.
šļø Coming Up on the Rise Health Coaching Podcast
This monthās podcast conversations will take this idea even deeper.
Weāll talk about why hustle can actually backfire biologically and why constantly pushing harder isnāt always the answer when your energy, motivation, or results start slipping.
Weāll look at how to ease back into structure without going from zero to 100āespecially after travel, summer schedules, or a season where your normal routines havenāt been possible.
Weāll also talk about designing your days around your energy instead of constantly draining it, including the small habits that can make your days feel easier.
And weāre bringing nutrition into the conversation with an episode about what āgetting back on trackā with nutrition should actually look like. Instead of cutting everything out, starting another restrictive plan, or trying to eat perfectly, weāll talk about rebuilding the basics: protein, produce, fiber, hydration, regular meals, and a little bit of planning.
Because your nutrition doesnāt need a dramatic reset.
It needs a rhythm you can live with.

My goal isnāt to give you more things to do.
Itās to help you figure out which things are actually worth doing.
š Your Invitation for August
This month isnāt about doing less just for the sake of doing less.
And it definitely isnāt about abandoning your goals.
Itās about being more intentional about how you pursue them.
Maybe you need more structure.
Maybe you need more recovery.
Maybe you need to start planning your meals again.
Maybe you need to get back to strength training.
Maybe you need to stop trying to do twelve things perfectly and start doing three things consistently.
Only you know what this season needs.
So as we move through August, I want you to keep coming back to one simple question:
Does this support meāor drain me?
Your workouts.
Your food choices.
Your schedule.
Your commitments.
Your habits.
Even the expectations youāre putting on yourself.
Pay attention to the answer.
Because alignment isnāt about finding the easiest path.
Itās about putting your energy toward the things that actually move you forward.
Hereās to an August with a little more intention, a little less unnecessary hustle, and routines that actually fit your life.
Iām so glad youāre here.
